Product Description

Product Description

Patch-type drip tape, also known as inner flat drip irrigation pipe, is a local irrigation method that utilizes a plastic hose (drip tube) to deliver water through holes or emitters with a diameter of approximately 16mm to the roots of crops. It involves using emitters or drip tapes with very small outlet holes to slowly and uniformly release water drop by drop into the soil near the roots of the crops.

It is the most effective water-saving irrigation method in arid and water-deficient areas, with a water use efficiency of up to 95%. Drip irrigation, compared to sprinkler irrigation, has higher water-saving and yield-increasing effects. Additionally, it can be combined with fertilization to increase fertilizer efficiency by more than double. It is suitable for the irrigation of fruit trees, vegetables, cash crops, and greenhouse cultivation, and can also be used for field crop irrigation in arid and water-deficient areas. One drawback is that the drip heads are prone to scaling and clogging, so strict filtration of water sources is necessary. Domestic equipment in China has met basic standards, and areas with suitable conditions should actively promote drip irrigation.

Features and Advantages
Inner Flat Drip Irrigation Pipe for Watermelon Planting
Internal Patch Design: The unique internal patch structure protects the drip orifices inside the drip tape, reducing the likelihood of clogging and ensuring the long-term stability of the system.
Patching Technology: Advanced patching technology ensures a smooth alignment between the drip orifices and the surface of the drip tape, improving the uniform distribution of water and ensuring each plant receives an adequate amount of moisture.
Corrosion-Resistant Materials: Made from highly corrosion-resistant materials, the product can withstand corrosion under different soil and water conditions, extending its lifespan.
Various Internal Diameters: It provides a variety of internal diameter specifications to adapt to different types and scales of farmland, ensuring suitability for the irrigation needs of various crops.
Easy Installation: Simple and easy to install, suitable for various agricultural scenarios, including large farmlands, orchards, and vegetable gardens.

Application Fields
Inner Flat Drip Irrigation Pipe for Watermelon Planting
Agriculture: Drip irrigation pipes are widely used in agricultural settings for irrigating row crops, orchards, vineyards, and vegetable fields. They provide precise water delivery directly to the root zone, promoting optimal plant growth, yield, and water efficiency.

Horticulture: In horticultural applications, such as nurseries, landscaping, and flower cultivation, drip irrigation pipes offer controlled watering, enabling growers to maintain ideal moisture levels for different plant varieties while conserving water and reducing labor costs.

Greenhouse Cultivation: Drip irrigation pipes are essential components of greenhouse irrigation systems, delivering water and nutrients directly to potted plants or growing media. They ensure uniform water distribution, minimize disease risk, and facilitate fertigation, enhancing crop quality and yield in controlled environments.

Urban Landscaping: Municipalities, parks, golf courses, and residential landscapes benefit from drip irrigation systems using drip irrigation pipes. These systems deliver water efficiently to trees, shrubs, lawns, and flower beds, conserving water and reducing maintenance requirements.

Water-sensitive Areas: Drip irrigation pipes are ideal for use in water-sensitive areas, such as arid and semi-arid regions, where water conservation is critical. They help mitigate water scarcity challenges by maximizing irrigation efficiency and minimizing water wastage.

Saline Soils: In regions with saline soils or water sources, drip irrigation pipes can be used to deliver precise amounts of water and leach salts from the root zone, thereby improving soil quality and crop productivity.

Fruit and Vegetable Production: Drip irrigation pipes play a vital role in fruit and vegetable production systems, delivering water and nutrients directly to crop roots while minimizing weed growth and soil erosion. They are particularly beneficial for high-value crops requiring precise irrigation management.

Slope Cultivation: Drip irrigation pipes are suitable for sloped or uneven terrain, where gravity-fed systems may not be feasible. They allow for controlled water application, preventing soil erosion and optimizing water utilization on hillsides and terraces.

Installation Instructions
Inner Flat Drip Irrigation Pipe for Watermelon Planting
Water for drip irrigation generally undergoes pressure stabilization, filtration, and fertilization at the main hub before passing through the main and lateral pipes and ultimately dripping from the drip tape to the plant's roots.

The installation of the drip tape is carried out in the following steps:

1. Punch holes in the lateral pipes: Use a specialized punching tool to create holes in the lateral pipes, including PE pipes, PVC pipes, and water-carrying belts.

2. Use a dedicated tee to connect the water-carrying lateral pipe to the drip tape.

3. Cleaning and sealing: After the drip tape and water-carrying pipe are installed according to step 1 and 2, open the water valve for flushing. This process removes impurities and particles from the system and drip tape. Finally, fold the end of the drip tape twice and seal it with the cut end of the drip tape. Alternatively, you can use a plug directly to seal the end.
